Personal Information We Collect
Digimark academy collects personal information about you in several different ways, depending on how you interact with our Platform. Please note that the types of personal information we collect differs depending on how you’re using our Platform, for example, as a student.
Personal Information We May Collect from Any Users of Our Platform.
- Account Information. To use certain features of our Platform (such as to create a course or to enrol in a course), you’ll need to register for an account with Digimark Academy. To do so, you’ll need to provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, email address, and phone number and Facebook login.
- Other Personal Information.You may choose to provide us with other personal information. For example, we may collect your name, email address and other personal information when you fill out a survey, participate in a Digimark-sponsored workshops or webinars, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us.
Personal Information We May Collect from Students.
- Student Payment Information. To purchase a course, Coaching, or other service through our Platform, you’ll need to provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, address, and information about the service you are purchasing. You may also need to provide certain payment-related information.
- Third Party Payment Processors. We use offline payment processes through the Digimark academy Platform. For security purposes, Digimark academy does not collect or receive any sensitive payment information, such as your complete card number or authentication data.

We collect the following types of information about you:
Information you provide us directly
We may ask for certain information when you register for a Digimark academy user account or correspond with us (such as a Facebook username , name , phone number, e-mail address).
We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the Service to you, to correspond with you, and to address any issues you raise about the Service.
If you don’t provide your information to us, you may not be able to access or use our Service or Community or your experience of using our Service or Community may not be as enjoyable.
Information we receive from third parties
We may receive information about you from third parties. For example, if you access our websites or Service through a third-party connection or log-in, for example, through Facebook Connect, by “following,” “liking,” adding the Digimark academy application, linking your account to the Digimark academy Service, etc., that third party may pass certain information about your use of its service to Digimark academy. This information could include, but is not limited to, the user id associated with your account (for example, your Facebook UID), an access token necessary to access that service, any information that you have permitted the third party to share with us, and any information you have made public in connection with that service. You should always review, and if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites and services before linking or connecting them to the Digimark academy Service. You may also unlink your third party account from the Service by adjusting your settings on the third party service. If you unlink your third party account, we will no longer receive information collected about you in connection with that service.
Summary: When you use our Service, third parties might give us some info about you, especially if you are signed into a third party account while using our Service. When you choose to link your social media account with our Service such as by logging in through Facebook or Gmail, your social media account provider will give us some info about you such as your Facebook user information.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Digimark academy cares about the security of your information, and uses appropriate safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the Service. To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to your email communications from Digimark academy, at all times.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
